What we mean by "no exit fee"
Live public copy on healify.ai/pricing (re-checked 2026-07-18) leads with No exit fee, ever, plus tiles for No cancellation fee and No dark-pattern traps, and still says Cancel anytime / no card required to start the trial. The page itself labels the cancellation language as product policy.
In this post, "no exit fee" means the same product policy for Life+: we do not charge a separate cancellation / early-exit fee to stop a subscription. You cancel through normal App Store subscription controls (or the paths in our Terms). That is product policy language, not a legal warranty and not a promise about refunds for unused time already paid under an open-ended subscription period.
Public Terms (https://www.healify.ai/terms) describe open-ended subscriptions that may be terminated at any time and Apple Account cancellation for App Store subscriptions. We found no "commitment plan" product and no separate "exit fee" / "cancellation fee" product language in public Terms. The pricing page does use the brand/product-policy phrase "No exit fee, ever."
The quiet tax of health apps
Most people do not leave a health app because the product failed. They leave because the exit felt unfair — a surprise charge, a plan they did not realize locked them in, or a price they never saw until the end of a long quiz.
In 2026, AI health and coaching apps sit on a trust fault line. Tracking is getting freer. Coaching is getting more expensive. And the fine print is where the relationship either holds or breaks.
This post is a plain-language comparison of pricing transparency across three products people actually compare: Healify, Simple, and Bevel. Every competitor claim below has a citable source. Claims we could not verify are listed as deliberately excluded.
What "transparent pricing" means here
We scored three things only:
- Can you see the price before you invest time?
- Can you leave without a cancellation / exit fee?
- Is the free tier real, or a demo of a demo?
We are not claiming clinical superiority, ranking "best AI coach," or inventing competitor feature limits we could not source.

Independent price reports (secondary only — not official list prices)
These are not Simple's or Bevel's official public price lists. They are independent write-ups that can lag promos and geo-pricing:
- Simple: independent reviews report rough ranges around ~$14.99–$29.99/mo or ~$49.99–$59.99/yr depending on path/promo (Fortune 2026 review; NutriScan pricing roundup). Prefer Simple's own "varies / shown at purchase" language as primary.
- Bevel Pro: reported as of Apr 2026 by AskVora as about $14.99/mo or $99.99/yr (AskVora comparison). Not confirmed against Bevel help center / in-app store for this post — treat as third-party report only.
Three things the table is really saying
1. Free is no longer the differentiator — exit terms are
Bevel's Dec 2025 move made most tracking free and left AI as the paid layer (Gadgets & Wearables; Bevel YouTube). That is good for users. It also raises the bar: if tracking is free everywhere, people will judge apps on whether the paid layer is honest and whether leaving is painful.
Simple still offers a free tier, but the free AI coach is capped (2 replies / day; 1 Vision scan / day) per Simple's own help center (Subscription plans).
Healify's free tier is deliberately usable after the trial ends — not zero, not unlimited coaching — with a 7-day full Life+ trial and no credit card to start (healify.ai/pricing).
2. Commitment plans change the meaning of "cancel anytime"
"Cancel anytime" and "cancel anytime for a fee" are different products.
Simple documents a Commitment Plan product: 3-, 6-, or 10-month terms at a reduced monthly rate. Cancel early → cancellation fee. Cancel at term end → no fee. After the term, it renews to a standard monthly plan with no cancellation fee (Simple Commitment Plan help).
That is not a rumor thread. It is Simple's own support documentation.
We are not publishing a specific dollar amount for that fee. User forums report various charges; Simple's primary docs confirm the fee's existence for early Commitment Plan exits without publishing a single public fee schedule we could cite as authoritative.
3. Price opacity is itself a product decision
Fortune's 2026 Simple review lists lack of Premium price transparency as a con and notes the public site does not disclose Premium pricing before a long questionnaire / email capture (Fortune). Simple's FAQ is consistent with that model: prices "vary" and appear at purchase (Simple FAQ).
Healify shows free + trial structure on the public pricing page and keeps store-current Life+ amounts in-app — the standard App Store pattern for live IAP pricing (healify.ai/pricing).
Where Healify stands (and what we will not over-claim)
What we say publicly:
- Cancel anytime. Product policy: no separate cancellation / exit fee to stop Life+.
- Free tier after a real 7-day full trial, no card to start.
- Paid Life+ pricing is what Apple shows you in-app — not a custom post-quiz negotiation.
What this post deliberately omits:
- No "Simple locks your history" claim — not independently re-confirmed with a citable primary source for this post.
- No "full data export anytime" / "all of your data" claim for Healify — out of scope for this pricing/exit transparency piece.
- No exact Simple cancellation-fee dollar figure as a hard fact — primary source confirms the fee; amount varies / not fixed in public Simple docs we reviewed.
- No Bevel Pro dollar amount in the main comparison table — secondary AskVora report only (Apr 2026), kept out of the primary table.
The standard we want to be held to
Health data is intimate. Pricing should not be.
If you try Healify and it is not for you, leave. You should not need a support chat archaeology dig, a "commitment" glossary, or a second payment to walk away.
